Musically, I began as a guitarist playing cover versions of songs in various bands. After about six years, I began writing my own songs and performing a mixture of covers and original songs. For several years now, I have entirely concentrated on song writing and musicianship.<\/p>\n
Although I began writing in a rock style and then, in a heavy metal style – a distinction with a difference, my writing now includes elements of classical, Celtic, Renaissance Era, and Prog Rock Influences.<\/p>\n
My lyrics occasionally contain historical and literary references, as I have an interest in both.<\/p>\n
Since 2020, using the multi-tracking technique, I have written and recorded all of the 6 & 12 string guitars, bass guitar, and keyboard parts on my recordings.\u00a0<\/p>\n
All of my songs are available for publishing and performance offers from established and developing artists.<\/p>\n
I am indebted to others for the invaluable contributions they have made to the recording and production of my songs and music videos. Accordingly, they are credited in the music videos.<\/p>\n
Of note, the song \u201cSassy,\u201d written with long-time co-writer Fran Bryant, appeared on radio station WKTK\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>Maryland Music \u201981 Album\u00a0<\/span><\/i>and in 1987, my song \u201cBad Attitude\u201d appeared on radio station 97 Underground\u2019s album,\u00a0<\/span>The Beast From The East, Volume 1.<\/i>\u00a0<\/span>Both albums were compilation albums of original material by Maryland regional bands.<\/p>\n Additionally, the songs \u201cSassy\u201d and \u201cTen Years\u201d were released as an independent 45 rpm record back when that world existed.<\/p>\n Besides music, my other labor of love is helping homeless animals at a local no-kill animal shelter. I’ve been a volunteer there since 2009.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t hesitate to contact me with questions or comments.
